The Azalea Parade will take place on Saturday, May 27, in 2023. As usual, PBARC plans to provide radio communications. Please contact Template:KE6NCU if you have any questions or want to volunteer.
Volunteers should arrive at Trinity Lutheran Church (1200 Easy St.) by 08:00 (8:00 AM). Please wear your yellow vest, and remember to bring your HT and a spare battery! It is best to avoid using a Baofeng or similar inexpensive radio if you have another option, but a Baofeng will work if it is all you have. Also, it is a good idea to bring an earpiece for your radio as there will by significant background noise. After the parade ends, volunteers should return to the church parking lot for the debrief/"hot wash."
