The Health and Welfare Net meets every day at 12:00 noon on the Crown Terrace repeater (146.840 MHz, - offset, 88.5 Hz tone).

This is <call sign> requesting a radio check please.

Net (12:00 noon)

QST, QST and good afternoon. This is <call sign> and my name is <name>. I am the net control station for the Pelican Bay Amateur Radio Club's Health and Welfare Net. This net meets every day at twelve o'clock noon local time on the PBARC Crown Terrace repeater on 146.840 megahertz with a negative offset and a tone of 88.5 hertz. The purpose of this net is to make sure our members and the community are safe and to provide assistance where needed.

This is a non-directed net, and we encourage everyone to check in and tell us how thing are going for you and the community. Stations with emergency traffic may break into the net at any time.

After the net, we encourage everyone to continue monitoring the PBARC Crown Terrace repeater, and also to monitor the National Simplex Frequency at 146.520 megahertz.
